The Happiness the Rich Have

I believe that, in general, the richer you are the happier you are going to be. The Gallup’s pollsters found that “declared levels of happiness are correlated with wealth”. This simply states that they polled various countries and what they found is that with wealthier countries they are happier then less wealthy countries. I also believe that within a country this is true. The article brought up an interesting point, saying that more wealth meant better health which led to happier countries. I think this is partly true in that if someone is healthier they have more to be happier about however some countries contradict this statement such as Eastern European countries and African countries. People in Eastern European countries are tremendously healthier then those who live in African countries who are stricken by HIV/AIDs. However, studies show that people in African countries are happier than those in Eastern European countries.

To JRockefeller: Finally, someone who has the same thoughts about money that I have. Money does indeed buy happiness and other related joys in life.

Well in most cases I would definetly say that the research that organizations, much like Gallup, have found speak bluntly for themselves, although there are some exceptions. Thank you for your support!
